Road Case Repair & Fabrication Tech

Full-Time

Hands-on, detail-driven fabricator needed to maintain and repair custom fiberglass-wrapped plywood road cases used for live event production. Restore touring-spec cases with gouges and structural wear.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair gouges, scrapes, and edge damage on plywood + fiberglass road cases
  • Use Bondo, Rondo, fiberglass resin, and epoxies for structural and cosmetic fixes
  • Sand, fill, and refinish surfaces for durability and consistent appearance
  • Perform minor carpentry repairs—lid fits, panel realignment, caster base reinforcement
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace with proper dust collection and PPE
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to triage damaged cases and prioritize workload

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with table saws, miter saws, sanders, and common woodshop tools
  • Experience with fiberglass repair, body fillers, and surface finishing techniques
  • Keen eye for quality craftsmanship and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working in a dusty, physical environment and lifting 50+ lbs

Electric Chain Hoist Technician

Full-Time

Detail-oriented technician needed to maintain and certify electric chain hoists (primarily Liftket, but experience with CM, EXE, or other touring-grade hoists is welcome). Background in stage production equipment or motor repair preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and maintain Liftket hoists and similar electric chain hoists
  • Perform brake adjustments, bearing replacements, and general AC motor diagnostics
  • Conduct rigging hardware inspections, chain assessments, and lifting certifications
  • Clean and maintain hoists and road cases to touring spec
  • Accurately manage parts inventory and job tracking
  • Support warehouse operations as needed for live event prep and return gear inspection

Qualifications:

  • Experience with AC motor repair/maintenance (Liftket, CM, EXE, or similar)
  • Understanding of DC brake systems, chain hoist internals, and lifting safety
  • Basic electrical knowledge and comfort working around 3-phase power (training provided)
  • Mechanically inclined and confident using hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet, and occasionally climb ladders
  • Familiarity with live event or touring production environments is a strong plus
